Gorgeous detached house in Salcombe, South Devon with fabulous estuary views set in a quiet location. Large enough for a big family getaway; but small enough for couples to enjoy (low occupancy discount available). Set over 3 levels, you enter from street level through a lovely shady courtyard with seating and a BBQ. The ground floor has a light and airy open plan living, dining and kitchen, with large balcony overlooking the estuary. The ground floor also has a utility room (washing machine and tumble drier) plus shower room. Upstairs is the master bedroom with ensuite (bath with shower over), a single bedroom and a spacious landing for children’s games or TV watching. Downstairs is a double bedroom, single bedroom, triple bedroom and family bathroom (bath and separate shower). Both the double bedroom and triple bedroom have doors onto the lower garden (this can also be accessed from the patio). The courtyard and lower garden are fully enclosed making them very safe for your children and pets.
Firm Anchor is about 800 yards to the waterfront with its fabulous restaurants and shops. Salcombe is brilliant for sailing and watersports. The annual regatta week is not to be missed!
Bringing your dog(s): We love to welcome dogs to Firm Anchor and happily accept 4 dogs (please ask if you would like to bring more as this may be possible). Please could you bring throws so that your dogs can snooze on the sofa. Dogs are welcome in every room, but not on the beds please. Your dogs will love the garden, but please do poop scoop daily as the gardener cannot mow the grass if there is poop.
Because of its position on the hill in Salcombe, Firm Anchor has fabulous views. It is about 800 yds to the waterfront for watersports, restaurants and shops.
